In this series of talks and discussions we aim to highlight some of today’s big questions and to explore our response as Christians.
Taking last year’s listening theme to the next level, we will explore the horns of each ethical dilemma, in a spirit of mutual respect and hopefully enriching dialogue. We have chosen speakers with in-depth knowledge of the subjects to be our guide.
We will examine difficult contemporary questions to do with migration; whether protest is a legitimate expression of Christian faith; how we manage and distribute the world’s resources; and the problems that global conflict may pose for us
To open our minds and hearts in readiness, we will begin by ‘Seeking wisdom together’. Dr Jessie Rogers, scripture scholar and theologian will look with us at some principles for discerning together.
