Completing a Gift-Aid declaration will enable the Charity to reclaim tax on your donations at the rate of 25%, if you are a UK tax-payer. If you donate £1 the Charity will receive £1.25.
The Gift-Aid claimed in any one year can be up to the total amount of tax you pay in that year.
