Last week members of the Community attended a workshop at Durham University to explore the significance of our archive and book collection which the Community gifted to the University in 2018. The workshop was attended by academics from the University and other interested parties who discussed the potential of the collections for teaching, research, outreach and visitor engagement purposes.
The visit afforded the opportunity for the Community to see the archive and library now housed in the University’s Special Collections strongrooms and to witness the progress being made to re-catalogue the collection in order to make it more accessible.
