On 18 September this year, the eve of the first anniversary of Frances Wood’s death, the Community, family and a few close friends came together to remember Frances (formerly SM Francis) and to celebrate her life. Mary Francis played a pivotal role in the development of the Community’s school at New Hall.
Fr Leslie, friend of Mary Francis and former chaplain at New Hall, said Mass. A special liturgy had been put together by the Community. Christopher Walker, friend and musician, sang a piece specially written in her memory.
