We are celebrating the Annual Mass for our deceased relatives and friends, in particular those buried in our cemetery, on Saturday 2 November (All Souls’ Day) at 2pm at New Hall in the School Chapel. The celebrant will be Fr Martin Hardy who is one of the team serving the Chelmsford parish and chaplain at New Hall School.
You are welcome to join the Community that afternoon. The Mass will be followed by visits to the cemetery for those who wish, and tea. For the purposes of catering please let us know if you will be with us by emailing crssuk@canonesses.co.uk.
Please note that the White Hart lane entrance to New Hall, which gives access to the Avenue, is currently closed due to work on the new station. There are two alternative routes in and out of the school – see the school website and map https://www.newhallschool.co.uk/contact/
There are two postcodes CM3 3HS – or CM1 6FU (through Beaulieu) – but please be aware some older SATNAVS may get a bit confused so best to check Google Maps before you leave. You can access both the North and South Gate from the Boreham interchange/off the A12 (J19), by taking the new flyover Beaulieu Parkway bridge (A131) with the site of the new station on your left and at the first roundabout there are two red signs to New Hall North and South Gates. If you follow the sign [New Hall South Gate] to the left it takes you around and across the field on New Hall Lane to join the Avenue part way up. OR from that first roundabout you can also follow the signs to the New Hall North Gate which brings you in via New Hall Way (look out for the new ‘Beaulieu Park Primary School’ on the corner and turn left into New Hall Way). From North Gate you will be coming in at the ‘back’ of New Hall near to the Prep School and swimming pool, so follow the signs to the Main Car Park.
