The sisters are grateful to all those who give so generously through our Advent appeal, and at other times during the year. Treating young children with malnutrition and running the school for the disabled in Muhanga are just two examples of the work our sisters are involved in, helping the poorest of the poor, and which this appeal will support.
You can read more about the life and work of our African sisters in our latest Africa Newsletter 2023.
If you would like to help, use the DONATE button here – Donations – Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre – (under CONTACT page) on our website. Please put in the description ‘LIGHT A CANDLE FOR AFRICA’ and if you would like to send a message/prayer intention to the Community, please do so via email projects@canonesses.co.uk.
Alternatively, you can send whatever you are able to the Community by post to either 43, Anderson Ave, Chelmsford CM1 2DA or 74, Howe Close, Colchester CO4 3XD – marking the envelope LIGHT A CANDLE FOR AFRICA. For donations by post, it might be helpful to print off the attached form and send that with your donation. 100% of the proceeds are sent to the sisters to help their work.
The Community will light a candle every week of Advent and will pray for your intentions and for the sisters in Africa.
With love and prayer
