April 26, 2022 @ 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm

Free

The topic of our next discussion in the series Community: Old Paths and New Directions is what has been described as the ‘loneliness epidemic’.  Join our discussions on Tuesday 26th April at 6.45 – 7.45pm on Zoom.

It is said that for an estimated 9 million U.K. citizens, loneliness is the sad reality of modern life.  It is one of the biggest health challenges we face. Loneliness has little to do with being physically isolated, but more about a sense of disconnection from the people around you.

“How am I so alone in a place with so many people?

How do we engage with this issue, speak up without stigma, spot the signs of loneliness and help build more meaningful connections so people feel less isolated.  How do we reconnect people with their communities to overcome loneliness and isolation?

Once you have registered you will be sent a confirmation by email.  The Zoom link will be sent by 25th April
