Faith through the senses: a Lenten Journey
Mondays in Lent from 27 February to 3 April
In each session we will begin to reflect on what God has given us through our senses and how we can use them to deepen our faith and to share it with others. Our meeting together will set the scene for your own exploration of how we encounter God through our physical senses (including the gift of our human imagination).
Each week, we will focus on a particular sense: sight, imagination, smell, touch, taste, and hearing under the following headings:
Look around! (Sight)
Use your Imagination!
Take a deep breath! (Smell)
Reach out! (Touch)
Taste and see! (Taste)
You who have ears to hear! (Hearing)
